QA Manager

Specialty Bakers LLC is looking for a dedicated QA Manager to add to our team in our baked goods manufacturing plant located at 450 S. State Road, Marysville PA- right outside of Harrisburg, PA!

Requirements:

· Highly organized and knowledgeable leader with a foundation in quality and food safety.

· Build and maintain an effective culture of quality and food safety through continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

· Develop and maintain a quality and food safety training program for the entire team.

· Ensure Specialty Bakers policies and procedures along with federal, state and local regulations are followed. (GMPs, SQF, FSMA, FDA, PennAg)

· Develop and maintain a state of audit readiness throughout the facility.

· Identify opportunities for improvement and in coordination with the operations team develop solutions for those opportunities.

· Escalate non conformances to the plant manager in a timely manner.

· Manage and maintain the company’s CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions) program.

· Determine root cause factors in creating CAPAs.

· Manage and maintain risk assessments and change controls.

· Track and report on plant’s quality key performance indicators (KPIs).

· Manage products, ingredients and packaging hold and release programs.

· Manage and maintain environmental action plan and monitoring program along with the corresponding testing.

· Partner with the plant manager and maintenance manager to identify capital improvement projects.

· Ensure sanitation SSOPs adhere to industry standards and regulations.

· Manage and maintain company’s HACCP and HARPC programs recommending any changes as necessary.

· Manage customer and consumer complaints and or issues.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
BS in food science or microbiology, or 5 years direct QA experience
