Job Title: Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare billing and collections, with a focus on insurance accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain insurance accounts receivable for the organization

- Review and analyze insurance claims to ensure accuracy and completeness

- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials to ensure timely and accurate payment

- Work with insurance companies to resolve claim issues and discrepancies

- Communicate with patients regarding their insurance coverage and billing inquiries

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all insurance billing and collections activities

Requirements:

- Must reside in Utah

-High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare billing and collections, with a focus on insurance accounts receivable

- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding, and insurance billing procedures

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare billing software
