What will you be doing:
- Lead and enhance the admissions process taking inquiry calls from hospitals, families, etc.
- Provide tours of center and maintain accurate bed availability
- Accurately complete required information for pre‐admission financial verification
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency regarding census/premium mix enhancement and management
- Prepare appropriate admission documentation and obtain signatures from residents or responsible parties prior to admission
- Ensure company processes are followed to achieve a timely clinical & financial approval process
- Provide a consistent and effective process for coordination of admissions and bed management with appropriate departments and staff
- Serves as a member of the marketing team to enhance resident and community relations
- Assist in preparing inquiry summary reports, an inquiry log, and other reports as required
- Answer telephone; route calls appropriately, receive and deliver messages.
- Greet visitors and refer visitors to appropriate individuals.
- Take employment applications and forward to the appropriate department head.
- Receive and distribute mail.
- Handle correspondence, perform typing, filing, photocopying and other clerical duties.
- Maintain an orderly, confidential and safe work environment.
- Practice universal precautions at all times.
- Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
- Attend and participate in department and staff meetings as assigned.
- Understand, comply with and promote rules regarding residents’ rights.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of high school education or otherwise show ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
- Knowledge of reimbursement programs from payer sources
- Ability to work weekend and overtime as required
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
- Must meet all applicable health regulations and pass post‐employment exam if required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends only
