Job Title : Community Assistant Job Type : Part-Time Location : Austin, TexasSalary Range : $14 to $17 per hour Job Overview : The Student Housing Community Assistant plays a key support role in managing the daily operations of a student housing property. This position assists the Community Manager and other staff members in ensuring that the living environment is safe, welcoming, and conducive to student success. The Community Assistant supports with resident services, administrative tasks, and community engagement activities, helping to create a positive living experience for all student residents.Responsibilities : - Assist the Community Manager in day-to-day operations of the student housing property - Provide excellent customer service to student residents and visitors - Assist with organizing and coordinating community events and activities - Conduct property tours for potential residents - Assist with leasing and marketing efforts - Handle resident inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner - Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive living experience for all residents Requirements : - High school diploma or equivalent - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Customer service experience is a plus - Must adhere to confidentiality and professionalism - Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed If you are passionate about creating a positive living experience for student residents and have the skills and qualifications outlined above, we encourage you to apply for the Community Assistant position with Specialty Management Consultants.
