**This position is a full-time on-site for our Whitestone Queens office**
For more than 31 years, Specialty Professional Services Corp has provided acute care healthcare professionals (HCPs) to facilities throughout the NY metropolitan region and beyond.
The major duties of a Healthcare Recruiter involve building relationships (both with current clients (direct/ and VMS) and generating a supply of new healthcare professionals to ensure client needs (both per diem and contract) are filled. This job will entail working quickly and require working cooperatively with and through people with attention to detail to complete tasks.
Job Duties
- Source employees for specific assignments, using various job posting/search mediums
- Perform extensive Internet-based research, data mining, cold calling, and other sourcing techniques to build candidate pipelines and profiles
- Creatively network and use social media to contact/search for applicants
- Cold call and build relationships by phone/email to generate awareness and candidate flow
- Perform initial screening of applications and resumes, interview candidates, complete reference checks, evaluate candidates, and make recommendations for hire
- Ensure all required paperwork and documentation is completed for all candidates
- Seamlessly transition identified candidates to our Quality Assurance department and Staffing Account Managers- as appropriate.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- 3 years' experience in recruitment/inside or telesales experience
- 3 years in a healthcare recruitment
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Proficient with various applicant tracking systems and client portals.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
- A strong emphasis on customer service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
- Analytical skills, detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong negotiation skills
- Must be able to respond to change in a positive and productive way
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
- Ability to collaborate with all people/aspects of the selling cycle to achieve goals

Compensation: Base salary plus individual commission package.
