What are the responsibilities and job description for the DNA Collection Clinics - 1st Tuesday per month (AVOYELLES PARISH) position at SPECIMEN SPECIALISTS OF AMERICA, INC.?
We're seeking a reliable individual to work as the DNA Collector to provide DNA cheek swab testing to our clients at the Avoyelles Parish Health Unit in Marksville LA for their pending child support cases. PLEASE NOTE - This is for 1 shift per month.
Having COVID testing experience/nasal swab is a plus. Applicants should have great customer service skills and work well in a team environment, yet be able to work independently. Must be reliable, professional and have a great attitude
- DRAW SITE: Avoyelles Parish Health Unit in Marksville LA
- RECURRING SCHEDULE: (ONE) Tuesday per month hours: 8:00am-12:30pm
- START DATE: Tuesday 4/2/2024
All staff will receive complete online training/ over the phone follow up training. All supplies including gloves, alcohol wipes, testing kits, camera, film, ink pad will also be provided.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
- Be professional and posses great attitude
- Perform cheek swab specimen collections
- Take Photos and Ink prints of all clients
- Fill out handwritten Chain of Custody form
- Ensure specimens are properly and accurately labeled
- Make FedEx run to drop off samples collected for the day
- Keep track of supply inventory and order as needed
