LOCATION: Hybrid in Boulder, Colorado (3 days per week in office - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
 
JOB TYPE: Full Time, Exempt
 
OVERVIEW:
Spectra Logic, a leader in data management and storage solutions, is seeking an experienced Content Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of a content strategy with a strong emphasis on email marketing, case studies, and social media management. This position will own the social media strategy, execution, and processes, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engagement across all platforms. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in content marketing within the tech industry and be skilled at developing targeted content that drives engagement, lead generation, and customer nurturing across various channels.
 
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
 
Social Media Strategy & Execution
  • Own and lead the social media strategy, execution, and process across LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Vimeo.
  • Plan, create, and schedule social media campaigns that align with marketing objectives and engage audiences.
  • Monitor social media trends, engagement metrics, advocacy platform (Oktopost), and audience feedback to optimize social media presence and performance.
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment with broader marketing initiatives across all social platforms.
Customer Case Studies Strategy & Execution:
  • Own the end-to-end process of developing customer case studies, including sourcing participants, conducting interviews, and writing compelling narratives that showcase the value of our solutions.
  • Build and manage a robust customer reference program, collaborating with sales and customer success teams to identify and nurture customer advocates.
  • Maintain a library of customer success stories and reference assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and regularly updated. 
Email Marketing & Copywriting:
  • Led by our Campaign Manager, develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies to support lead generation, customer nurturing, and product promotion.
  • Write engaging, conversion-focused email copy tailored to different audience segments and stages of the buyer’s journey.
  • Collaborate with peers on the marketing team to optimize email workflows, ensuring timely and relevant communication.
  • Continuously test and refine email subject lines, layouts, and calls to action to maximize open and click-through rates.
  • Monitor and analyze email performance metrics to identify trends and make data-driven improvements.
Content Creation and Strategy
  • Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with business goals and supports demand generation efforts.
  • Collaborate with peers on ongoing content inventory and audit as part of content strategy development.
  • In addition to email, case study and social copy, you are responsible for a variety of marketing content, including blogs, video scripts, and web content, etc. You are our go-to writer for marketing content.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
  • Measure the success of email marketing, social media, case study campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to optimize future initiatives.
  • Track key performance metrics across email, social, and website. 
YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of content marketing experience, preferably in the B2B tech industry, with significant experience in content marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful email and social media campaigns that drive engagement and lead generation.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging content tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with social media management tools and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in measuring and optimizing content performance.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and adept at problem-solving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
COMPENSATION:
Base salary range: $90,000 - $120,000. While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate’s actual salary will be competitive based on factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
