A Maintenance Technician in a production facility is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and systems used in the production process. Their primary objective is to minimize downtime and optimize productivity by conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive maintenance tasks.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various production equipment, such as conveyors, pumps, motors, and automated systems. This includes identifying mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic malfunctions and taking appropriate actions to resolve them promptly.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all machinery and equipment. Conduct regular maintenance activities, including lubrication, calibration, cleaning, and replacement of worn-out parts, to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
