Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all Quality aspects associated with assigned program including development of technical publications, quality program plans, inspection instructions, and customer/supplier liaison correspondence.
- First article (AS-9012 Rev. C) submission including all supporting documentation.
- SPC data analysis.
- Failure analysis reporting and implementation of Corrective Actions.
- Development and submission of CDRL/SDRL documents.
Education and Experience:
- Experience in DOD contracting preferred but not required.
- ISO-9001 and/or AS-9100 experience.
- General understanding of Configuration Management.
- Candidate should be proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ASME Y 14.5M including the ability to interpret detailed engineering specifications and drawings, perform verifications of detailed precision parts including complete lay-outs.
- Educational requirements consist of a degree with an accredited University.
- Extensive experience/training that can be demonstrated in the specific fields could be considered an equivalent in lieu of the degree requirement.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer desired but not required.
- Ability to train and supervise personnel.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to mine data and convert that data into information for Executive Management to make informative decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Statistical Process Control (MiniTab) software.
- Experience in quality management systems (ISO-9001/AS-9100).
- Experience in quality system auditing.
- Desire to make decisions, take ownership, and responsibility for outcomes.
- Ability to work as a constructive member of the Program IPT. Members consist of Program Manager, Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Manager/Supervisor, and representatives of Materials, Procurement, and Safety.

- Willingness to continually embrace professional development.
Physical Job Demands:
- Light to heavy physical effort required. Some lifting required.
- Continuous mental and visual attention required.

- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing under DOD regulation.
- Some occasional travel may be required.
