Job Title: Quality Assurance Tech II
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Redmond, WA
The client is looking for a Quality Assurance Tech to manage product quality throughout the manufacturing process, particularly during new product development and the sustaining phase. The ideal candidate should have experience in engineering/quality, with a strong understanding of manufacturing and testing processes in high-volume electronics.
Experience in Engineering/Quality: At least 5 years of experience in engineering or quality, ideally in a high-volume consumer electronics manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Quality Tools: Proficiency in Lean/Six Sigma tools (e.g., Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Design of Experiments, Cpk, etc.) to drive quality improvements and problem-solving.
Factory Quality Management: Ability to develop and manage the out-of-box audit (OBA) process, perform factory audits, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of assembly, manufacturing, and testing processes, along with the ability to use data analysis and statistical methods to resolve complex issues.
Strong Communication & Leadership: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement across various levels of the organization.
