Job Title : Mainframe Systems Programmer
Duration : 12 Months
Location- Columbia, SC(Partial Onsite - At least 1 day per week / Can be Remote)
C2 eligibility is required
Standard Hours - 8-4 : 30 pm Monday - Friday.
Overtime, on-call, weekends, and off hours as needed once fully trained
Required Technologies :
- Mainframe / host experience
- Required IBM z / OS MQ mainframe
- Required Experience creating / maintaining a queue manager and queues
Nice To Have :
Day to Day : Resolving test and production issues that arise Working on customer requests such as creating new queues, queue managers & changing queue depth Working on a multitude of projects ranging from installing the latest release of MQ to configuring MQ on servers Working with error reports and handling multiple tasks at the same time Internal monitoring such as checking queue depth

Required Skills and Abilities :
Required Software and Other Tools : Standard office equipment.
Work Environment : Fast-paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.
Required Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other job-related field or 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree.
Required Work Experience : 6 Years of IT work experience including varied systems programming experience.
