Job Title: Marketing Coordinator
Location: Morristown NJ, 07960 (Hybrid 2-3 days a week onsite - flexible days)
Duration: 6 months
This position's starting pay is: $30.00/hr.
HM Notes:
- Role will work with 3rd party vendors and retailers
- This role is not building the program or strategy, ensures marketing team has visibility into what is happening, managing set up
- Role ensures, contracts are signed, goes in to retailer portals, works across team
- Coordinator and making sure programs are budgeted and paid for and supporting sales/ internal teams
- Individual will coordinate shopper experience at a customer level. Team has about $8-10 mil budget between 10 retailers.
- Individual will also help with invoicing, Purchase Orders, maintaining flow reports and working closely with all 12 brands.
Must have Skills:
- Similar experience with coordination for sales team to track budgets. Will work with sales and marketing teams to set up/maintain retailer programs/portals.
- Min of HS Diploma/AA/GED and 10 years of experience or bachelor’s and 5 years of experience.
- Previous project management experience, should be highly organized, have experience in sales execution.
- Will track redemption and activation. strong excel and PowerPoint skills.
Nice to Have/ Preferred:
- Highly prefer that candidate has industry experience in OTC or CPG manufacturing. Day in the life: will work with Field marketing team and internal marketing team.
- Strongly Preferred: previous work within the shopper industry
Description:
The Shopper Engagement Coordinator will work with Sales and Shopper Marketing to plan, track and execute customer level activations across all channels & major retail partners for all brands US Opella Brands. This individual will report into the Head of Shopper Marketing. She/He will work with the Shopper Engagement Managers, the Campaign Activation Manager, the Retail Media Team & Sales Leads to schedule, contract & set-up and execute shopper & consumer promotion programs at the account level. They will track program costs, issue/manage purchase orders, receive/process invoice, set-up/track programs at the accounts, manage program budgets and assist with other various administrative tasks to help execute an annual spend of $8-12MM USD.
The Shopper Engagement Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining the timely flow of reports, program evaluations, proposals, and project estimates
• Coordinating Shopper/Consumer Promotion Purchase Orders & Invoices for 12 NA Opella Brands
• Tracking both Marketing & Trade Funded Shopper & Consumer Promotion Spend/Budgets
• Managing Coupon Request Forms & Coupon Set-up across the Coupon Vendor/Partner, the Retailers’ Systems/Vendor Portals & Internal Opella Systems
• Assisting in the development of Targeted Digital Offers (circ, value, targeting cells)
• Coordinating offer tracking & program warp reports
• Assisting with various ad hoc working/planning sessions as they relate to Shopper Marketing & Consumer Promotions
• Participating in regular Shopper Team Meetings and Sales Account Team Meetings to provide status updates on ongoing & recently completed Shopper Programs & Consumer Promotions
Qualifications:
• High-school Graduate & Associate’s Degree or Equivalent, Required
• Undergraduate B.A. / B.S. Degree, Preferred
Experience:
• 5-10 years of professional experience required, preferably within OTC or Consumer Goods
• Project Management experience & demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders is required
• Experience supporting sales & sales execution is highly preferred
Skills/Knowledge:
• Highly Organized with strong interpersonal, communication & time management skills
• Comfort working in a fast-moving & dynamic environment
• Ability to learn & use customer/retailer portals with prior experience ideal
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
