About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Controls Professional to join our team as a Senior Project Management Specialist. This role will be responsible for leading project execution, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Management: Build and maintain Primavera P6 schedules to track project progress.
- Total Installed Cost Reporting: Prepare and maintain Total Installed Cost Reports, including subcontractor and vendor commitments, expended costs, and forecasted final costs.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 4 people, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Cost Review Meetings: Conduct cost review meetings with clients to discuss project financial status and address any concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project completion and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
- Cost Engineering Functions: Perform cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management, risk management, cost analysis, variance analysis, and earned value measurement.
- Subcontractor and Vendor Management: Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and superintendents to understand Work-in-Progress (WIP) and forecast costs to complete.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience: At least 20 years of experience in Cost Engineering/Project Controls, with expertise in EPCMV Bio/Pharma Projects, Earned Value Management, Change Management, and Risk Management.
- Skills: Advanced Excel skills, Emotional Intelligence, team player mentality, coachable, and analytical ability.
- Tools and Technologies: EcoSys, Oracle Unifier, EPCMV project life cycle experience, and Primavera P6 scheduling software.
