What Will You Be Doing?
As the EHS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing environmental, health, and safety programs across Spectro Alloys. You’ll manage compliance with federal and state regulations, ensure the implementation of safety practices, and foster a culture of safety within the organization. Working closely with the EHS team, you will help develop, implement, and refine programs that promote safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
Here’s what you’ll be doing day-to-day:
- Leading and managing safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations.
- Conducting safety training and implementing accident prevention programs.
- Overseeing hazardous materials handling and maintaining required documentation.
- Continuously assessing and improving the safety culture and practices within the organization.
- Managing safety compliance reporting and coordinating with external regulatory agencies.
- Supervising EHS staff and collaborating with other departments to drive safety initiatives.
- Providing leadership and guidance to employees regarding safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
Who We Are Looking For:
A Positive, proactive team member with a positive attitude and a commitment to safety.
Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing or recycling; experience in a heavy industrial environment is a plus.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations.
- Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and safety training.
- Ability to manage and communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 30/40-Hour, HAZWOPER, or First Aid/CPR certifications.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
- Experience in a heavy industrial environment

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
Education & Experience:

Certifications & Training (Preferred but not required):
- OSHA 30/40-Hour, HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Must be able to pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screen (Safety first!).
