We’ve got a new beast in the yard—a Hammel shredder, built to break down heavy scrap and prep it for recycling. Now we just need the right person to step up and take the wheel. This is your chance to run a brand-new piece of heavy equipment, learn from the ground up, and play a key role in keeping our production flowing. If you’ve got experience on a loader, excavator, or shredder—or you're just eager to learn—we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate our new Hammel industrial shredder to process aluminum scrap
• Feed the shredder using heavy equipment (loader, forklift, etc.)
• Monitor operations for safety and performance
• Perform daily inspections and assist with maintenance
• Work outdoors and in variable conditions (we provide the gear!)
• Stay sharp on safety and communicate with your team
• Troubleshoot problems and help us improve how we run this new machine

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience with heavy equipment (shredder, loader, skid steer, excavator, etc.)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a drive to learn something new
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, outdoor environment
• Safety-focused and reliable
• High School Diploma preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Requirements

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old
• Physical Requirements:
• Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in both heat and cold environments (we keep it real, but we’ve got you covered with safety gear)

Background & Screening:

• Must be able to pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screen (Safety first!)

Positive Attitude & Motivation:

• A strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to the team
• Ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications (but not required):

• Previous experience in a physical, hands-on role (manufacturing or trades experience a plus)
• Forklift Experience- If you’ve got forklift skills, great! If not, we’ll get you up to speed.
