Carefree Living, our established assisted living and memory care community in Silver Bay, MN is seeking candidates for a Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team.
WAGE: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for coordinating and conducting activities and program events. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for calendar/newsletter creation that is creative
- Completing initial assessments by gathering social history from the residents
- Plan, organize and carry out all activities with the residents
- Plan community events
- Connecting residents with similar interests
- Encouraging participation of activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates must be hardworking and dedicated to provide an exceptional customer service experience
- Experience with life enrichment, recreational therapy, and/or activities in assisted living required
- Experience with Memory Care is beneficial
- Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal and cooperative relationships with management, staff, residents and residents' family
- Candidates will be subject to a criminal background study
- Ability to plan, organize, and accurately follow through on work activities to meet deadlines as well as to work independently with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision.
