Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Certified Nurses Assistant at the  Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System.

This contract position offers:

• 12 hour shifts - weekend, holiday, evening, and night hours
• Paid Time Off 
• 11 Paid Holidays
• Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

• CNAs provide hands-on patient care. 
•  Assisting with ADLs (bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding)
• Turning and repositioning patients
• Measuring and recording vital signs and intake/output
• Supporting ambulation and transfers
• Maintaining clean and safe patient environments
• Observing and reporting changes in condition to nursing staff

Job Requirements

• BLS
• Minimum one year experience as a CNA
