JOB SUMMARY
Primary responsibilities include installation and operational support of all Audio Visual (AV) services offered by the company. This includes but is not limited to: conference room AV systems, distributed audio systems, digital signage, wireless presentation systems, stage lighting systems, and network infrastructure. Work activities may include outdoor conditions, working on scaffolding, tall ladders and motorized lifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Install, service and maintain audio visual equipment including but not limited to: display devices, projectors, displays, camera systems, video teleconferencing systems (VTC), microphones, speakers, and lighting systems
· Configure AV and supporting equipment
· Commission AV systems
· Lead installation crews for AV installations
· Follow and instruct on company standard operating procedures
· Maintain inventory management of equipment, wirings, and accessories to avoid any shortages
· Conduct troubleshooting of AV systems at customer sites
· Assemble and disassemble audio visual equipment as needed
· Rack fabrication and internal wiring
· Prioritize and complete work orders accurately and timely
· Provide technical assistance to other AV Techs when required
· Provide accurate labor tracking data
· Report work order updates and issues
· Maintain clean and safe working environments
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of 5 years of AV installation experience required
· Industry Certifications (Crestron, Extron, QSYS, Biamp, etc.)
· AVIXA or BICSI certifications preferred
· AVIXA CTS Certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
· Ability to pass a criminal background check
· Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
· Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required
· Strong verbal and written communication skills using tact and courtesy along with the ability to handle pressure sensitive situations
· Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative
· Ability to work collaboratively with all staff

- Must be detail oriented, have multi-tasking abilities, and handle tight, high stress deadlines
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel and/or crouch for long periods of time
· Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding, and work in high places
· Ability to lift 70lbs as is necessary in the normal flow of the day-to-day work
· Ability to work in small, confined spaces
· Ability to work in outdoor seasonal conditions
· Ability to work multiple shifts, including days, evenings, overtime and some weekends based on project deadlines
· Ability to travel overnight for several days at a time to complete assignments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
