JOB SUMMARY
The Data Analyst at Spectrum Killian Dental Lab Alliance (SKDLA) is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data to support the operational, sales, and strategic goals of the organization. This role requires a high degree of proficiency in data analysis tools and familiarity with dental lab software to extract insights that enhance decision-making. The Data Analyst will collaborate with various teams to develop actionable recommendations, ensuring data-driven solutions align with organizational objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Extract, clean, and analyze data from SKDLA’s Dental Lab Software and other internal systems to generate meaningful insights.
· Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations, sales, and financial performance.
· Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform strategic initiatives and decision-making.
· Work closely with sales, operations, and marketing teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
· Support the development of forecasts, predictive models, and data visualizations to aid in planning and performance monitoring.
· Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all data and reports, performing regular audits and validations.
· Collaborate with IT and software vendors to optimize data collection and reporting functionalities within the Dental Lab Software.
· Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, concise, and actionable formats.
Other Duties:
· Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics and dental laboratory operations.
· Provide training and support to team members on data interpretation and reporting tools.
· Perform other duties as required by the Operations Manager or Vice President of Sales & Commercial Strategy.
Knowledge and Abilities Required
· Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the dental laboratory or healthcare industry.
· Advanced knowledge of Excel, including the use of functions, formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, and data modeling.
· Strong skills in PowerPoint, including designing and creating professional, visually appealing presentations tailored to effectively communicate data and insights.
· Familiarity in Dental Healthcare
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nonessential Skills and Experience:
· Experience with machine learning or advanced statistical techniques.
· Background in database management or programming languages.
