About The Role
As an Assistant Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting our production and sales teams by preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial printing and direct mail related projects. This position offers hands-on experience in estimating and pricing, with opportunities to learn about industry-leading technology and workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Fine motor skills for keyboarding, manipulating documentation.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

About The Role
As an Assistant Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting our production and sales teams by preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial printing and direct mail related projects. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications to calculate costs for materials, labor, and time.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and design teams to ensure accurate quotes.
- Research and source materials from vendors to determine competitive pricing.
- Use estimating software and tools to prepare detailed job estimates.
- Assist with job planning and ensure alignment with client budgets and timelines.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, project specifications, and pricing updates.
- Experience: 1-2 years in a related field (e.g., estimating, commercial printing, or manufacturing) is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate who might be looking for a career change with applicable skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other relevant software; experience with estimating tools is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to thrive under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
