Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Estimator role located in Chandler, AZ at the Spectrum Mechanical division. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for construction projects. The Estimator will also collaborate with project manager and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- 5 plus years experience
- Experience in analyzing construction documents and preparing estimates
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing experience
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Identify new work opportunities and inform leadership team of potential projects with current clients.
- Perform estimating functions with working knowledge of estimating technology and tools such as Bluebeam, Procore and Bim related software.
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from project drawings and specifications.
- Research and gather pricing information for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
