JOB PURPOSE: Supports the production line by setting up various machines that are used in daily operations.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Required
Works under general supervision. Requires physical activity with the majority of time spent walking/moving around SPG facility performing various manual projects and using machinery. When on manufacturing floor, protective clothing is necessary. Position requires flexible hours and ability to work around chemicals and extremely hot machinery.

Essential Duties
- Sets-up injection mold presses
- Operate injection mold presses
- Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications
- Fabrication and adjustments of small tooling used for molding
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment
- Verify safety devices on equipment are in proper working order
- Upholds SPG and Dupont vision and core values
- Performs preventive maintenance on all scheduled equipment and facility
- Troubleshoots and repairs injection mold presses and secondary electrical mechanical equipment as necessary
- Facility repair maintenance and repairs which includes plumbing, electrical, light drywall repair and painting
- Performs other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Required
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within field
- Ability to problem solve identify errors and deficiencies and perform research independently
- Ability to apply knowledge to their job function using pre-established guidelines and instructions
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness
- Computer skills
- Proficient communications skills
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude
- Ability to comprehend and comply with company safety and quality standards
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Basic hand tools
- Responsible for understanding and complying with all SPG and Dupont safety policies and procedures.
- Certificate of formal training in the field of maintenance or machinist
- Manufacturing background
- 10 years directly related experience
