SENIOR BUYER

Location: Ogden, UT

Reports to: Utah Site Manager

Compensation: $50K - $100K

Our products are critical in extreme environments, powering systems like drones, pressure sensors, and space missions, while maintaining top-tier certifications such as ISO-9000 and AS-9100.

Your Role:

The Lead Buyer is the driving force behind seamless operations and on-time delivery of top-quality products for the military and aerospace industries. Through strategic negotiation and procurement, they keep production running smoothly while optimizing costs and efficiency. As the company expands, this role will be instrumental in shaping innovative processes and fueling long-term success.

What You’ll Do:

• Negotiate and schedule purchasing commodities including raw materials, parts, and services
• Establish relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards
• Administer online purchasing systems and maintain accurate purchase order records within xTuple ERP
• Work closely with internal teams to fulfill material and service needs efficiently.
• Maintain supplier certifications, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Establish streamlined purchasing procedures for multiple company locations to improve efficiency.

• What You’ll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business management, or related field preferred but not required
• 5 years’ experience purchasing and overseeing supply chain operations in a manufacturing setting – aerospace experience strongly preferred
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
