Job Summary
The Pool Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pool facilities, ensuring seamless guest experiences and promoting revenue growth through innovative strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Aquatics Work Orders: Complete all aquatics work orders assigned, including troubleshooting equipment, verifying daily checklists, minor electrical work, and plumbing.
- Inventory Management: Purchase inventory and safeguard all supplies, equipment, and tools, maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Team Member Scheduling: Develop and manage team member work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and effective resource allocation.
- Training and Development: Coordinate team member training needs, assist with recruitment, and develop incentives to promote engagement and retention.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor team member performance, conduct performance reviews, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Assist in implementing process improvements, familiarize yourself with company policies and procedures, and ensure OSHA compliance.
- Customer Feedback: Foster a culture of feedback and positive reinforcement among team members, providing regular customer feedback and coaching.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Support other departments and complete daily tasks as needed to ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
- Certifications: Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certificate.
- Education: Minimum of HS Diploma, some college or trade/technical school preferred.
- Experience: Two years minimum experience in pool maintenance.
- Skills: Basic working knowledge of tools, excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and resort management software/work order system.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand during entire shift.
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, climb stairs, push, pull, climb ladders.
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Able to work in tight, small areas and spend long periods of time in one position.
- Able to work outdoors and in inclement weather.
