Electrical Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience assisting senior engineers in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design of electrical components, systems, and products
• Assist with developing, implementing, and testing electrical system and equipment
• Draft schematics, layouts, and other technical documentation to support project needs
• Conduct research on electrical components or systems for new or enhanced products and processes
• Perform circuit analysis and simulations using appropriate electrical engineering software
• Troubleshoot electrical systems or components during testing and implementation
  
  

Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Successful completion of the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam strongly preferred
• Basic proficiency in electrical design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP ...)
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  

Desired (Additional) Skills:

• Experience with power systems design and analysis
• Interest in electrical design engineering on power delivery projects
• Knowledge of the NEC, IEEE, and IEC codes, standards, and laws that govern electrical power systems
  
  

Security Requirements:

Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility requirements to obtain/maintain a Final Secret Security Clearance
