Job Title: Human Resource Generalist
SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Generalist to manage all HR activities, procurement tasks for externally sourced goods and provide support to the Plant Manager and Customer Service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform new hiring process tasks, including eligibility verification, background screening, pre-employment physical and drug screening administration, benefits implementation, etc.
- Manage payroll-related tasks, including bonus calculations and corresponding communications (letters and postings).
- Oversee performance review process, including preparation and follow-ups.
- Coordinate job posting, candidate resume reviews, and interviewing process.
- Act as Safety Officer, responsible for managing safety trainings, plant inspections, and OSHA compliance monitoring.
- Purchase local and international goods for operations via SAP, excluding materials sourced from other Perlen sites.
- Manage approved supplier lists, vendor evaluations, and vendor agreements/contracts.
- Conduct monthly and annual inventory counts and communicate results.
- Support customer service for assigned accounts and substitute CS during vacation or absences.
- Assist VP/Plant Manager with administrative tasks, such as monthly reports, intercompany communications, meeting minutes, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resource management, or psychology preferred.
- Several years of experience in a human resources capacity.
- Strong computer skills.
Compensation: $60,000 - $67,000
