Vice President Operations

SUMMARY

The Vice President of Operations will be a key executive leader responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations, including investment casting, solid mold casting, and machining. This role will drive operational excellence, ensure product quality, and align processes with the company’s strategic growth objectives. The VP of Operations will lead a high-performance team, optimize production efficiency, and uphold the highest industry standards in aerospace manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily operations across investment casting, solid mold casting, and machining, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, NADCAP, AMS, ASTM) and customer specifications, prioritizing precision and consistency.
• Manage operational budgets, optimize resource allocation, and identify cost-saving opportunities to enhance profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Maintain a reliable supply chain for raw materials, developing strong supplier relationships and optimizing inventory management to prevent production delays.
• Serve as a key liaison for customers, ensuring on-time delivery, quality assurance, and excellent service while fostering strong external partnerships.
• Champion workplace safety and regulatory compliance, implementing best practices for a secure and environmentally responsible facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 10 years of operations leadership experience in manufacturing, with expertise in aluminum casting (investment and solid mold casting preferred).
• Strong background in aerospace manufacturing standards (AS9100, NADCAP) and machining processes.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and resource management.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to balance operational efficiency with product quality and customer satisfaction.

COMPENSATION: $180,000 - $190,000
