What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at Spectrum Transportation Corporation?
Now hiring for motivated logistics operations professional. This position will work with our shippers to procure loads and with 3rd party capacity providers to source capacity. This is customer service rep /dispatch position in a fast-paced office setting.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Communication and correspondence with shipping customers regarding load requirements, pickup and delivery appointments, billing requirements
· Communication and correspondence with 3rd party capacity providers (drivers) to offer loads, communicate pickup and delivery schedules and requirements, and in-transit status updates.
· Respond to shipping customer and driver inquiries and issues
· Data entry of loads and in-transit updates
Qualifications for this position include but are not limited to:
· High-school diploma or GED equivalent; college or technical training a plus
· Experience in transportation is required; interest in the industry and respect for truck drivers and industry is a must. Knowledge of platform trailers and freight securement is a plus.
· Solid geographical knowledge of the United States, interstate, federal and state highways, time zones, etc.
· Reliable transportation to and from work
· Ability to read and clearly speak English; bi-lingual is a plus
· Good organizational skills
This is a salary position. Compensation based on experience.
Regular office hours Monday-Friday; overtime as required. Weekends and holidays are worked on a rotating basis.
Potential for SEP (IRA) contribution based on company performance; potential bonus based on company and individual performance.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
