Spee-Dee Delivery is looking for a self-motivated individual that is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for the organization.
Hours and Wages :
- Monday-Friday, 7 : 30AM-4 : 30PM
- Starting wage : $24.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities :
Develops, facilities, and implements all phases of the recruitment processCollaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteriaIdentifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organizationAssists with job posting and advertisement processesScreens applications and selects qualified candidatesSchedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materialsAssists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholdersCollaborates with the hiring manager and / or human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent detailsEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policiesAttends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting eventsPerforms other duties as assignedExperience and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferredTwo years of human resources or related experience preferredSHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tacticsFamiliarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitmentProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesBenefits :
