About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Scheduling Specialist to join our team in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry. As a Clinical Scheduling Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient scheduling of clinical appointments and procedures. The successful candidate will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate scheduling of patient appointments. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care possible.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in clinical scheduling or related field
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership qualities and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Outstanding time management skills with the ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- Professionalism, judgment, and initiative
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- English/Spanish Proficiency
Preferred, but not required Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems (ex: Central Reach)
- Certification in healthcare administration or related field
Responsibilities:
- Schedule clinical appointments and procedures in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient scheduling of patient appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient appointments and procedures
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts to ensure smooth patient flow
