San Diego Branch Manager

Job Summary:

SpeedX is seeking an experienced San Diego Branch Manager to lead and oversee last-mile delivery operations in the San Diego region. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage high-volume logistics, optimize delivery performance, and coordinate with fleet partners and delivery service providers (DSPs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for warehouse operations, dispatch management, and scaling resources to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Logistics Management:

• Oversee daily package sorting, dispatching, and last-mile delivery performance.
• Ensure on-time performance (OTP) targets are met across all delivery zones.
• Work closely with DSPs and fleet providers to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
• Develop and implement operational improvements to reduce costs and increase productivity.
• Monitor warehouse operations, including inventory flow and facility maintenance.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Hire, train, and lead warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Set performance expectations and foster a high-accountability work culture.
• Enforce safety and compliance protocols in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.

Business Growth & Expansion:

• Identify opportunities to scale operations and support future market expansion.
• Work on securing a warehouse facility to enhance operational stability.
• Assist in onboarding new DSPs and additional drivers to meet growing demand.

Vendor & Partner Coordination:

• Maintain strong relationships with DSPs, fleet providers, and third-party partners.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership to implement process improvements and new technologies.
• Coordinate with regional managers to ensure alignment on business strategies.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or last-mile delivery operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and scale operations effectively.
• Experience working with DSPs, fleet providers, and third-party logistics partners.
• Proficiency in logistics software, routing tools, and warehouse management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in e-commerce logistics or parcel delivery.
• Background in fleet management and dispatch coordination.
• Familiarity with operating in challenging delivery zones, including mountain areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
