About The Job:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a talented group of Manufacturing Engineers and be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the production of high-quality products. This role requires a strong team building and mentoring skills, technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
What You Will Do:
- Process Design and Optimization:
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and product quality.
- Design workflow layouts and production lines that support lean manufacturing principles.
- Production Support:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve production issues.
- Analyze and optimize equipment performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve throughput, and enhance productivity.
- Utilize Six Sigma, Lean, or other methodologies to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Equipment and Tooling:
- Specify and procure equipment, tools, and fixtures required for production.
- Ensure all equipment complies with safety and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with quality control teams to establish and maintain quality standards.
- Develop and implement inspection protocols to ensure product conformity.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of process parameters, equipment specifications, and production metrics.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Perform Performance Reviews and give constructive feedback.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with NPI, design, and production teams to ensure seamless product transitions from design to manufacturing.
- Provide input during the product development phase to ensure manufacturability.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (industry-specific experience preferred).
- 3 years of management experience in leading teams
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE).

Our good faith estimate of salary for this role is $128,00- $161,257. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a full benefits package.
