Participants in the College Internship Program will be responsible for a role, Music Instructor assigned to the Activities Team. The Activities Team will assist the Frost Valley Summer Camp Directors and Leadership teams in planning, participating and implementing summer camp daily activities with day and overnight campers. Our Activities Team is an essential part of assisting with check-in and check-out processes, assisting with luggage and meal times. A principal job function is to ensure that quality service is provided to all participants and families. College credit will be given based upon the outlined credentials assigned by the respective SUNY college / institution.
Requirements
INTERN PARTICIPANT ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Meet or exceed the standards of the American Camp Association and the Ulster County Board of Health.
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure professional standards of Summer Day Camp, Overnight camping and the Frost Valley YMCA.
