We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager for a 12-month contract (with potential extension) in Albemarle County, Virginia (Charlottesville area). Lead a utility-scale solar project, focusing on photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring project progress, quality, and safety.
- Supervise civil, electrical, and mechanical work, including racking and tracker systems.
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve issues and maintain schedules.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and manage project risks.
- Use Procore for project management and coordination.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of experience in PV and battery storage systems, with a focus on ground-mounted solar.
- Expertise in racking and tracker systems and electrical systems in large-scale solar projects.
- Experience in an EPC environment or with general contractors, subcontractors, or civil/electrical contractors.
- Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Outlook.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
