Spencer Ogden has been retained by a leading multinational energy company to appoint a Director of Structured Finance to lead their Distributed Generation (DG) business.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, coordinating, and executing renewable energy development, M&A transactions, and financing opportunities for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Structured Finance, you will cultivate relationships with financiers and equity partners to deliver innovative and competitive financing solutions.

What You Will Bring
- Experience: 10 years of transaction experience in renewable energy or project finance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business required; master’s degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for financial modeling.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with clear and effective written and oral communication.
- Transaction Expertise: Experience negotiating and modeling tax-advantaged transactions (e.g., leases and partnerships) or working within power/energy markets.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and lead complex transactions involving multiple counterparties.
- Analytical Skills: Robust quantitative and analytical capabilities.
- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and independently.
- Global Perspective: Fluency in English and experience working in multicultural or multi-site environments.
Salary : $200,000 - $220,000
