We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Solar Civil QA/QC Lead for a solar site outside of the Dallas, Texas area. In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of civil construction activities related to solar projects. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all quality assurance and quality control aspects of civil engineering works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Work Week: On average, at least 40 hours a week
Rotations: Typically every 4 weeks, Friday to Monday

Responsibilities:
- Uphold and enforce stringent health, safety, and environmental protocols across all operational domains, ensuring external entities such as EPC firms and consultants adhere to established standards.
- Take charge of the routine maintenance and execution of the quality plan, ensuring its consistent application throughout operations.
- Proactively identify and address deficiencies within the quality plan, overseeing resolutions to ensure seamless project execution.
- Generate detailed quality reports and supervise the meticulous documentation of QC activities to maintain comprehensive records.
- Ensure strict adherence to the quality plan, conducting regular assessments to uphold quality standards.
- Conduct thorough Quality Inspections for civil construction utilizing the Vyn Digital System, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction QA/QC roles, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- At least 8 years of QA/QC experience required.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and quality management systems.
- Familiar with photovoltaic solar design and technical standards.
- Highly organized and able to work with teams efficiently.
