What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resource & Operations Manager position at Spencer - Richardson?
We are working in partnership with a market leading professional services firm - to find their new Resource & Operations Manager.
The international team are niche specialists, having built an inclusive and innovative culture. Operating in over 50 countries, and a growing client list of household brands, their sustainable growth requires a collaborative and strategic Operations Manager to plan the resources for their service offering and lead day to day operations in the region.
Initially offered on a 6-12 month contact with a view to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all resource planning is managed and held to the highest standards across the region.
- Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, aligning client requirements to the operational and delivery teams to offer a seamless service.
- Map and plan pipeline forecasts, predict any delivery challenges and prepare solutions in advance.
- Understand the teams capability and capacity across the region to best place resources.
- Support the facilities management and operations of the local office, managing the budget appropriately.
- Management of KPIs and target delivery.
- Coach and advise the project teams, lead operational excellence, continually improve processes.
- Create a culture of excellence - drive the business values and lead by example.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key stakeholders, peers and colleagues.
To be successful:
- Demonstrable track record of leading operations in a global matrixed organisation.
- Would suit someone with experience in a fast-paced project delivery background.
- Natural ability to forecast with strong planning and resource allocation skills.
- Financially literate.
- Highly strategic, able to look at the bigger picture and driven to deliver excellence at all times.
- People management experience.
- Genuine collaborator and relationship builder.
- Able to be in the office in NY a minimum of three days per week with flexibility for international travel when needed.
- Experience with event planning highly desirable.
- A flexible and agile approach.
Salary approx $150k - please note this position is initially offered on a contract basis.
