Position Overview :
Spencer Thomas Group (STG) is currently looking to add to our team of consultants under our Global HCM practice.
Our client needs a Payroll Functional Process Consultant to support integration efforts following a merger.
Responsibilities :
- Integration Efforts : Serve as a participant in a team of consultants focusing on aligning existing processes and documenting the current state to facilitate the transition.
- Process Documentation : Develop, refine, and maintain comprehensive documentation of existing Payroll and HR processes to support requirements gathering and ensure smooth integration with new systems.
- Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, IT, and the broader Payroll team, to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable plans for system integration.
- SOX Compliance : Ensure that all processes adhere to SOX compliance requirements, providing oversight and guidance to maintain high standards of governance as a newly public company.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Act as a liaison between client's payroll team and external implementation partners, clearly communicating needs, priorities, and challenges to facilitate successful project outcomes.
- Testing & Validation : Work with technical teams to develop testing scenarios and conduct validations.
- Performance Metrics : Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress toward the goal of 99.6% payroll accuracy and ensure timely delivery of first paychecks following the integration.

Duration : This is a project-based consulting opportunity with a start date of January 1st, 2025 with an initial duration through to December 31st, 2025 , with the possibility of extending.
