What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Consultant (Functional Consultant) position at TECHNOMILE LLC?
The day-to-day:
- Design and manage the implementation of TechnoMile solutions that meet business requirements for small to midsize projects
- Create user stories for implementation, detailing the technical requirements to meet the user story acceptance criteria
- Lead client sessions to gather, define, and document business requirements, where needed
- Demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders as needed
- Assist in end-user acceptance testing by developing the test cases and the acceptance criteria
- Lead knowledge sharing sessions with the client and provide the user
- Documentation required for supporting the system in the future
- Present solution options to customers, evaluating the pros and cons of declarative configuration against code and customization
- Refine implementation estimates and plans for phases of the delivery lifecycle
- Perform impact analysis for scope change requests, document changes to requirements, configuration, and data mapping
- Provide technical and functional expertise to project teams
- Participate in training content development and administrator and end-user training deliver
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Business Administration and or equivalent experience
- The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on Salesforce experience
- Experience with packaged applications
- Prior experience with designing and implementing Salesforce solutions
- Ability to effectively design a scalable solution to meet client business needs, and participate in system configuration when necessary
- Change management and scope control - Experience performing impact analysis for potential changes in scope; and identify potential risk situations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Salesforce certifications preferred but not required
- US Citizenship is required
