What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Crew Member position at Sperber Landscape Companies LLC?
Waverly Development is looking for exceptional people for landscape crew member positions. We welcome both experienced and entry level candidates so if you’re at least 18 years of age, have 1 year of landscaping experience, and are a motivated team player looking for a career, we invite you to come grow with us!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- All aspects of landscaping from lawn and garden maintenance to installations and hardscapes and other duties as required
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to take direction from Crew Leader and other Branch Management and communicate effectively with other team members
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Must have reliable transportation to and from our shop in Belmont, MA and must be willing to work extended hours and weekends
Education and Experience/ Licenses:
- 1 year of landscaping experience preferred
- Experience using commercial mowers and other power equipment preferred
- Valid MA Driver’s License a plus
- DOT medical card and/ or pesticide license a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand and walk long distances
- Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Job Type: Full-time, seasonal with the option to work during snow operations
Pay Range: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour depending upon experience
