Urgent Client Need!Position : Product Implementation ManagerLocation : Southern California, CAJob Type : Full-time / Permanent / Direct-HireExperience Level : Senior (15 years)Industry : Software, Government Solutions, SaaSAbout the Role : -We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Product Implementation Manager with a minimum of 15 years of experience in software implementation, specializing in Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions, Salesforce, and ideally with a background in City Permit, License, and Inspection domains. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex software implementation projects to our clients. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, leadership skills, and industry knowledge, with a focus on customer success and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities : -Project Leadership : Lead and manage end-to-end software implementation projects, from planning through to post-go-live support, ensuring that all objectives are met on time, within scope, and on budget.Stakeholder Management : Act as the primary point of contact for both internal and client-facing teams, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including product managers, business analysts, developers, and executive leadership.COTS & Salesforce Implementation : Oversee the deployment and customization of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software solutions and Salesforce-based solutions. Utilize your deep knowledge of COTS solutions to guide teams in configuring, integrating, and testing.City Permit & License Domain Expertise : Leverage your expertise in City Permit, License, and Inspection domains to ensure that the product meets industry-specific needs and regulatory requirements. Provide strategic insights on how the software can optimize and streamline government operations.Requirements Gathering : Lead discussions with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements and product specifications.Risk & Issue Management : Proactively identify risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure effective resolution. Anticipate challenges and manage expectations across all levels.Process Improvement : Contribute to the continuous improvement of the implementation process by analyzing past projects, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending best practices.Change Management : Help clients manage organizational change as a result of software implementation, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.Qualifications : -Experience : Minimum of 15 years of experience in software implementation with a focus on COTS software and Salesforce solutions.Domain Expertise : Strong background in City Permit, License, and Inspection domains (ideally, experience with municipal or government solutions).Project Management Skills : Proven track record in leading large, complex, and high-stakes software implementation projects, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering successful outcomes.Technical Knowledge : Deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, COTS products, and integration methodologies. Familiarity with SaaS solutions is a plus.Leadership : Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage senior-level stakeholders, and build consensus across various business units.Client-Centric Approach : Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with clients to address complex business challenges and drive successful project outcomes.Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose issues, develop solutions, and think strategically to address challenges.Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
