Architectural Senior Designer
Position Summary:
The Architectural Senior Designer provides technical expertise and design support for industrial projects. This role involves 3D modeling, 2D drafting (CADD), material take-offs, vendor coordination, and construction administration support under the supervision of the Discipline Lead Architect or Design Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review designs using Autodesk AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, OpenBuildings, SketchUp, and Revit
- Coordinate with other disciplines, vendors, and clients
- Ensure designs comply with federal, state, and local codes
- Support procurement and construction activities, including vendor submittal reviews and RFIs
- Execute work per project scope, schedule, and quality plans
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Associate degree 10 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of building design, materials, and detailing
- Proficiency in 2D/3D architectural software
- Experience in EPC projects, industrial facilities, and nuclear projects (preferred)
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of ASME NQA-1 standards and nuclear facility design
- Experience with DOE, federal government, manufacturing, or biotech projects
Salary : $60 - $72
