We are seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maximizing sales, and maintaining a positive working environment.
Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day operations in the absence of the Store Manager
- Provide leadership and guidance to retail staff
- Assist in employee orientation, training, and development
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels and stock organization
- Drive sales through effective merchandising and customer engagement
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail management or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team
- Proficiency in sales management and achieving targets
- Excellent math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stock control and merchandising
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
- Experience in retail sales or as a retail clerk is advantageous
