Job Description: We are seeking an experienced technical Sales Representative to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our audio video solutions to larger commercial clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new enterprise IT and networking projects where AV solutions (Zoom Rooms, Teams Rooms) are needed.
  • Leverage existing connections with IT professionals (network admins, architects, and managers) to open doors.
  • Educate IT teams on how AV solutions (specifically Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms) integrate with networking and security environments.
  • Develop and close deals with mid-to-large enterprise clients, working through a six-month sales cycle.
  • Expand relationships within accounts, turning initial projects into company-wide multi-million dollar conference room AV refreshes.
  • Build partnerships with general contractors, IT consultants, and industry partners to uncover new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Roughly 3 years of IT or networking hardware sales experience (networking, security, storage, cloud, or telecom preferred).
  • Strong, existing relationships with enterprise IT teams in Birmingham.
  • Ability to discuss networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing protocols, security best practices, etc.) at a surface-to-mid level.
  • Hunter mentality—you thrive on finding and developing new business.
  • Experience with a consultative or solutions-based sales approach.
