We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various mechanical wet and dry HVAC projects. The successful candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope. The ideal candidate has HVAC mechanical field experience and hands-on project management experience working on Federal and/or Private jobs ranging from $500,000 - $12M.

Responsibilities
- Review engineering RFP'S, specifications, and project documents to assess scope and requirements.
- Research and source materials, compare supplier pricing, and estimate total material costs.
- Calculate labor hours, factoring in skill levels, experience, and labor rates.
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, including materials, labor, permits, and overhead.
- Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure accurate estimations.
- Evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids to identify cost-effective solutions.
- Develop cost-saving strategies to optimize resources without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to maintain competitive estimates.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, estimating, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills for accurate cost assessments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and experience with estimating software/tools.
Compensation
$100,000 - $110,000 yearly
