We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will act as the primary liaison between Inspection, Manufacturing, and Customers, ensuring that quality standards are upheld and customer requirements are met. This role involves analyzing processes, troubleshooting quality issues, and preparing detailed documentation for compliance and reporting. - Act as the liaison between Inspection, Manufacturing, and Customers to ensure seamless communication and quality compliance.
- Review customer purchase order (PO) requirements to align production and inspection processes.
- Collaborate with customer quality representatives, source inspectors, and government source inspectors to address quality requirements.
- Prepare, present, and submit in-process and final documentation packages prior to shipment.
- Create and submit deviant material reports for customer approval through the Material Review Board (MRB).
- Analyze and troubleshoot quality issues, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with blueprint specifications, including GD&T, for all manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support to inspection and manufacturing teams regarding quality standards and processes.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of quality reports and documentation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, including GD&T specifications.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Degree or formal qualification in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with quality systems, customer audits, and compliance processes is a plus.
