Job Description:

Spherion Mid Ohio, in partnership with The JM Smucker Company, is seeking a temporary Claims Analyst to support the Smucker team in Orrville, Ohio. This position will start as a 3-month contract position with possible extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify client information and claims for participation in trade programs
• Resolve pending billbacks in Telus trading system
• Serve as liaison between Revenue Growth Management and Customer Logistics
• Provide direction on how to handle and resolve pending deductions and claims
• Work with distributor, customers, and Sales team to resolve pending claims
• Provide assistance on other projects as needed
  
  

Skills:

• Associate's Degree required, and/or previous related work experience
• 1 year of related business experience is preferred
• Strong systems and Excel skills, including V-lookup, pivot table, and formulas
• Excels at investigative and detail oriented tasks
• Ability to thrive and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Data analysis, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
  
  

Education: Associate's Degree required, and/or previous related work experience

Compensation: $22/hour (approximately $45,760 annually)

Schedule/Location:

This position is full time (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. This position offers a hybrid work schedule. You will have the opportunity to work a combination of days remotely and in the office at the Smucker Orrville campus, most likely 75% remote and 25% in the office.
