Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a skilled Civil Engineer PE to join their team in Pensacola. In this role, you will take the lead on a variety of exciting infrastructure projects, including transportation, site development, water resources, and environmental systems. You’ll manage projects from concept to completion, collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals who share your commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Projects: Manage civil engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Design & Develop: Create detailed designs, plans, and cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to keep projects on track.
- Mentor & Guide: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
- Innovate: Use the latest engineering software (like AutoCAD and Civil 3D) to model and optimize designs.
- Ensure Compliance: Stay on top of regulations and industry standards to keep projects safe and compliant.
Qualifications:
- Education & License: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a PE license in Florida (or the ability to obtain within six months).
- Experience: 5 years in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- 8-10 years experience in field or related area
- Skills: Proficiency in civil engineering software, strong project management abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
