Additionally, this role includes assisting with various billing and collections tasks as needed.
Responsibilities :
- Communicate directly with patients regarding their financial responsibility from services
at customer sites.
Working hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM
Skills :
Associate degree or equivalent education in a related field
Experience with billing and collections software systems
Problem-solving skills to address billing and collection discrepancies
Ability to adapt to evolving industry guidelines and company policies
Education : High School
Experience : 1-4 years
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing / collections
Understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and denial codes
Proficient customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail with independent prioritization abilities
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
