What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Production Supervisor position at Spherion?
We are looking for a full time, direct hire first Shift Supervisor in Watsontown, PA to manage the departmental operations within a highly automated manufacturing environment
You will:
- Motivate and direct employees to ensure compliance with production and quality goals
- Coordinate maintenance repair work to ensure all equipment is in proper working condition
- Work to improve processes through observation and critical thinking
- Organize production schedules to ensure maximum use of equipment and personnel
- Be responsible for inventory accuracy through periodic physical counts and adjustment requests
You will have
-Excellent leadership qualities, and outstanding communication skills
- Computer literacy and mechanical aptitude
- Experience with PLC's and robotics is a plus
- Desire to grow with the organization over a career vs just a job
- Manufacturing experience
